I'm a teacher (Special Education) and my husband is a Chemistry teacher...we also host a nonprofit at our place in Colorado for kids / youth in crisis...they can come out to visit our rescue animals!  We have two burros, a pig, a horse, five goats, three dogs, four cats, a fish, a bearded dragon, lots of chicken (not rescues :) ), and a bunny!  All of them (but the chickens) came from pre-auction, a slaughter house, crisis need, or the shelter.
